2005 CPR Guideline Update

CPR Changes.Easier to do and much more effective.

A Open the air way: head tilt - chin lift for all victims
B Check for normal breathing for 10 seconds
The breath for doing CPR is normal breath but not deep breath
Each breath lasting 1 second(the past was 2 seconds〕, provide visible chest rise
C Do not need to confirm pulses. Give 2 effective breaths, immediately begin breast compressions.
For all victims,30 chest compressions and 2 breaths(30:2)
Child:1 or 2 hands on the center of chest between the nipples.Infant:2 fingers on the center of chest just below the nipple line.
D AED shocks: 1 shock followed immediately by 2 minutes or 5 cycles of CPR. Reassess ECG
