How does it work? | It prevents influenza A and influenza B viruses from multiplying in the body by inhibiting the function of the viral neuraminidase which helps the influenza virus multiplying. Oseltamivir phosphate is not effective in reducing the influenza viruses which have already increased in the blood. Therefore, treatment should begin within 48 hours of onset of symptoms. |
