Suicidal behavior risk found in 11 epilepsy drugs: FDA | 2008.07.14 |
BELTSVILLE, Maryland (Reuters) - A medical advisory panel on Thursday overwhelmingly backed a finding by U.S. regulators that 11 epilepsy drugs carry a risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior. The drugs include Pfizer Inc's Lyrica and GlaxoSmithKline Plc's Lamictal. The panel must still consider if the drugs should carry a strong "black box" warning about the risk. |
